ProxCon™ high quality proximity tags are designed for professional access control systems—rigorously tested to withstand years of use, these tags will help you secure and simplify entry into your building.
Comparable to HID tags at a fraction of the cost and lead time, ProxCon™ tags are available with a wide range of customizable options. ProxCon™ tags are compatible with many brands of card readers, including HID.
These ProxCon™ prox tags are made from durable white PVC to withstand daily wear and tear and are programmed for 125 kHz proximity systems. The same size as a standard CR80 card, these prox tags are often used for employee ID tags, security passes, staff ID badges, and more.
Important Information to Know when Ordering Prox Tags
When ordering your ProxCon™ prox tags, you will need three key pieces of information:
- Your card format—this is most commonly HID Compatible 26 bit (H10301)
- Your facility code—this will be on the box your current tags came in, and is a number between 0 and 255
- Your sequence start number—every prox card has a unique sequence number (numbers are between 0 and 65,435) and numbers cannot be repeated, your new card order should start on the next number in the sequence. This will also be on your box.
Keep in mind when ordering ProxCon™ prox tags:
- Minimum order quantity: 25 tags
- Lead time for orders of 1,000 tags or less: 1-3 business days
- Lead time for orders over 1,000 tags: 3-4 business days

Unsure About Your Card Format or Facility Code?
The easiest way to find your card format and facility code is to look at the box your last order came in – the card information will be printed on a label on the box. It may also be included in your order invoice. If you have access to your access control system, you may also be able to look it there.
If you're unsure about your card information and cannot access it, Remocon can help – just send us your prox card. If we can read it and duplicate the card, we're happy to produce the tags for you at the best prices available. Contact our sales team for more information.
Card Material
When you order ProxCon™ prox tags, you can choose between PVC and composite tags. Both styles of tags are designed to withstand daily wear and tear, and allow you to print on the tags using an ID card printer.
PVC Tags
ProxCon™ PVC tags are made from durable white PVC, or plastic. PVC is the standard material for ID tags, and they can be used in almost any application. ProxCon™ PVC prox tags can be printed on.
Printing on Your Prox Tags
Customize your prox tags for use as employee IDs, staff ID tags, security passes, and more. Custom printing will make your tags easier to identify authentic tags and eliminates the need to carry additional ID badges.
By default the tags will have a small brand logo and reference number printed in the lower left-hand corner.
To use your ProxCon™ proximity tags, you'll need a compatible card reader. Compatible readers for this card:
- HID proximity readers
- XceedID proximity readers
- Schlage proximity readers
- aptiQ multi-technology readers
